I’ve been a little absent from the blogosphere for the past week or so. But with good excuse! For me, the past week consisted of traveling home for Easter break, visiting friends from my old college, spending time with family and friends, and, of course, the Triduum and Easter. It was a busy but wonderful Easter break, and now I’m hopping back on the blog to catch up with you all!
Here’s a little recap of what I’ve been up to over the past week:
~ flying home to Michigan
~ hanging out + catching up with my family
~ visiting my old college + my dear friends there
~ Holy Thursday Mass at the parish near my old college
~ spending the night on a pile of blankets on the floor of my friend’s room
~ spending the morning at my old college
~ Good Friday service at my home parish
~ having two friends from my old college come over to spend the weekend at my house
|from my instagram|
~ Target + Starbucks with said friends
~ getting stuck in insane traffic in the process (my friends experienced + even videotaped my “road rage”… apparently it was funny…)
~ EASTER VIGIL!!!! Attended the beautiful Mass at my home parish (my favorite Mass of the year), followed by a yummy “Hallelujah Breakfast” in the parish hall.
|my hair was CURLY for once!|
~ sleeping in
~ Easter baskets!!!
~ spending the day with extended family
~ exploring the woods
~ food, dessert, + candy all day long
~ Mass and coffee with friends
~ flying back to Florida, watching the sunset on the plane
After all that, it was back to the school grind, which will last for another few weeks. Then, within the month, I’ll be done and home for the summer. How is that possible?!
How was your Triduum and Easter?
I hope this post finds you well and overcome with Pascal joy!!!
We are the Easter people and “hallelujah” is our song!!!!
He is risen indeed!!!!
